We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing the infrastructure necessary to support our cloud-based solutions.

Additionally, you will lead and manage a team of developers and cloud architects, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Responsibilities

● Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions to meet the performance,scalability, and security requirements of our clients.

● Lead and manage a team of developers and cloud architects, providing technical guidance,support, and mentorship to drive project success.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and architect infrastructure solutions that align with business objectives.

● Deploy and configure virtualized environments, including servers, storage, networks, and security components, using industry best practices.

● Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and monitoring processes to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability.

● Perform ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of infrastructure components to ensure high availability and performance.

● Conduct performance monitoring, capacity planning, and disaster recovery testing to proactively identify and address potential issues.

● Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in cloud infrastructure, virtualization, networking, and security.

● Mentor and coach team members, fostering their professional growth and development.

Preferred Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

● Proven 5 years experience as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer or similar role, focusing on cloud infrastructure design, implementation, and management.

● Experience leading and managing teams of developers and cloud architects, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and communication.

● In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

● Strong proficiency in virtualization technologies, including VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM.

● Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.

● Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security principles.

● Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and implement effective solutions.

● Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

● Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SolutionsArchitect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
