As a Junior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy, and assisting with data visualization tasks. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of structured database data manipulation, programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar, and data pipeline development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines to support various data-related tasks.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement data solutions.
  • Assist in data modeling and database design tasks.
  • Support the implementation of data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Troubleshoot and debug data-related issues as they arise.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in data engineering.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience, preferably with internships or entry-level positions.
  • Strong understanding of structured database data manipulation using SQL.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or similar.
  • Familiarity with data pipeline development concepts and tools.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
