As an iOS Engineer at Leya AI, you'll be in charge of the development of our brand new native app experience. You will be a part of a small team where rapid development is a part of everyday life, so we hope that you’re excited about change. Because of the small nature of the team, you will work across the whole frontend stack.

Our web apps are built with React, however, we’re excited to begin our native journey with you driving this change. We built our backend systems on FastAPI (Python) & PostgreSQL, our data layer on BigQuery & Superset and we host on AWS & GCP. Responsibilities:

  • Lead the charge in developing Leya AI's mobile app.
  • Champion the implementation of best development practices for rapid experimentation and sustainable growth.
  • Build a beautiful, fast and intuitive native app experience.
  • Shape the future of Leya AI with your technical expertise and visionary thinking.
  • Make sure our automated deployments stay quick and painless, so we can ship immediately to production.
  • Collaborate through GitHub pull requests, and code reviews, and provide valuable team feedback.
  • Keep the codebase covered with tests to ensure robustness.
  • Build tools with Large Language Models that provide real value to users.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years in mobile development, Swift and iOS SDKs proficiency required (bonus points for additional experience).
  • A feel for great user experience.
  • Familiarity with speech or audio applications, large language models or React? Even better!
