What you'll be doing
- Overseeing and maintaining our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure.
- Managing and optimizing our Kubernetes deployments in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Ensure compliance with SOC2 and ISO-27001 standards in our GCP environments.
- Troubleshoot and enhance GCP setup for performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Identify and implement automation strategies for increased efficiency.
- Act as the technical point-of-contact for GCP and Kubernetes-related queries.
What you’ll bring to the role
- Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform services and architecture.
- Strong expertise in Google Kubernetes Engine and Kubernetes.
- Extensive experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
- Demonstrated experience in container orchestration using GKE and Kubernetes at scale.
- Knowledge and experience in implementing and maintaining SOC2 and ISO-27001 compliance in GCP environments.
- Knowledge and experience in implementing GCP disaster recovery best practices.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Python and/or Typescript
Nice To Have
- GCP Professional Cloud Architect or Associate Cloud Engineer certification is a plus.
- Experience with AWS, CloudFormation, and CDK is a bonus but not essential
- Experience with Github Actions and/or CircleCi is a bonus
