We seek a motivated and talented Associate Analytics Engineer to join our cross-functional product team and enhance our data infrastructure capabilities.

Reporting to the Head of Data and Analytics, you will work closely with analytics engineers, developers, and operational teams to support data enablement and ensure data accessibility across all business functions.

What you'll do

      • Develop and maintain routine ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure seamless data flow and smooth operations.
      • Maintain data pipelines to ensure timely and reliable access to data for various business functions.
      • Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and provide support for data issues.
      • Build and optimize metrics, visualizations, and dashboards in Looker to provide insights to business users.
      • Write SQL queries to meet business needs in Snowflake.
      • Review and provide feedback on dbt code.
      • Create and maintain data documentation, including data dictionaries and metadata repositories.
      • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams on small projects to ensure data infrastructure meets the needs of the organization.
 

What you’ll need to succeed

    • Degree in data science, computer science, statistics, or a related STEM field.
    • Basic understanding of SQL and ability to write simple queries.
    • Proficiency in using data visualization tools, preferably Looker.
    • Familiarity with ETL concepts, preferably dbt.
    • Preferably some familiarity with basic Python libraries for exploratory analysis is a plus.
    • Strong problem-solving and the ability to analyze complex data sets.
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to data quality and accuracy.
    • Excellent English communication skills and ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders, ensuring clarity and fostering collaborative problem-solving.
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and processes.
